As the REBUILD – Capacity Building for Sustainable Reconstruction project enters another important stage of implementation, the consortium is turning its attention towards ensuring the long-term sustainability and continued impact of the project’s results.
Within Work Package 5 (WP5) – Sustainability and Exploitation, led by Akademia WSB – WSB University, the project partners are currently working on key instruments designed to support the continuation of cooperation and the use of project results beyond the project lifetime.
One of the key outcomes of this stage is the development of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the project partners. The MoU is intended to provide a framework for continued cooperation, supporting the further use, development and dissemination of the knowledge, tools and solutions created through REBUILD.
The MoU has now been prepared and is undergoing review and verification by the project coordinator. Following this process, the consortium will move forward with the next steps towards its formalisation.
In parallel, the partners are working towards the development of the REBUILD Sustainability Plan. The plan will define practical measures to maintain and further develop the project’s results, strengthen cooperation among participating organisations and support their continued use in the fields of VET, higher education and sustainable reconstruction.
These activities represent an important transition from project implementation towards long-term impact. Sustainability is not only about maintaining project results after the end of funding — it is about creating the conditions for continued cooperation, knowledge exchange and capacity building among the partner institutions.
Through WP5, REBUILD is laying the foundations for ensuring that the knowledge, partnerships and solutions developed during the project can continue to generate value well beyond its implementation period.
Stay tuned as we continue building the foundations for the long-term impact of REBUILD.
